Messages from the Masters are a series of inspirational messages that have come to me calling to be carved. All lettering is drawn or brush stroked, then carved by hand using a mallet and chisel. When I feel led to have a message revealed in Japanese, a Japanese Calligrapher is commissioned to create the Japanese characters on rice paper. The image is then transferred to stone and carved.
